Straight Bar Scrap Cutting Machine

The Straight Bar Scrap Cutting Machine is a heavy-duty mechanical cutting machine specially designed for processing straight TMT bar scrap and reinforcement-bar off-cuts into uniform 200 mm (8 inch) pieces. It cuts straight TMT bars, round bars and square bars up to 16 mm, across all TMT grades. Its top loading hopper allows up to three suitable same-size bars to be loaded together, which improves productivity and reduces individual material handling during repetitive cutting. The machine produces a fixed output length of 200 mm (8 inches). The cutting length is factory-defined and is not intended to be customized. Only straight bars should be fed; bent bars are not the intended input. The 120 x 90 x 25 mm cutting blade has four usable cutting positions. When an edge becomes worn, the blade is rotated to use the next one, extending blade life depending on material, blade condition and operating conditions. An Allen key for the blade bolt is supplied. Power comes from a 1.5 kW (2 HP), 1500 RPM, foot-mounted three-phase motor, with an operating speed of 45 strokes per minute and a maximum open mouth of 20 mm. With overall dimensions of 1280 x 610 x 1180 mm and a weight of approximately 330 kg, the machine provides a substantial, stable structure, and its plastic wheels make it easy to reposition.
